A Story Continued From the Rooftops of Last Thursday...

Irony is the essence of...predictable. People come and go as quickly and routinely as seasons change...thunderstorms roll in at any moment they so desire, never minding if you are on a picnic.  Convenience is never the issue for Mother Nature and Father Time....it really all just a matter of chance? or is is just bad karma?

Tears can stop just as quickly as they come if you try hard enough. If your heart gets broken over and over again, eventually it simply becomes numb. And as for the new crystal vase your mother bought as a "nice touch" for the top of the piano...finds a way to shatter. We are glass and stone...a porcelain doll in steel armor. A survival mechanism that many acquire....we shatter that crystal vase, that perfect balance of what is beautiful and lovely.... and we sweep the pieces under the rug as quickly as possible....and we pretend as if nothing ever happened. Like back in preschool...when something was out of sight, it ceased to exist. A sort of "object permanence" concept.

Lovely. xD I like the analogy between the vase on top of a piano and the shattering pieces of the heart. And this is a story right? I really like the beginning, I'd like to read more soon.
